2025-26 Academic Year
As per our check-in process, please let us know in advance when you are expecting to arrive at urbanest by selecting your expected arrival slot on your urbanest Portal.
To do this, simply:
Log in to your portal
Complete your Online Check-In (if you have not done so already)
Return to your portal homepage
Pick your arrival slot.
If you need to update this slot, just log back in and select a new time.
Please note that arrival slots are strictly limited, and availability is first-come, first-served.
University Bookings
If you booked via UCL at King's Cross, KCL at Vauxhall, City or Battersea, or through another partner, you should book your arrival time with your institution and not with urbanest.
What if my flight is delayed?
No worries at all! Our teams are based on-site 24/7, so just head to your new home as planned and we'll be happy to check you in. If it's busy and you miss your slot, you may just need to wait a little while.
What if there's not my preferred time slot remaining?
If there isn't your preferred arrival slot remaining, that means we have reached our capacity for check-in on that date/time. If this is the case, you should pick a later or earlier date/time.
Please note that this only applies in September when arrivals are busy. If you are arriving during the academic year or in summer, you do not need to book an arrival.
Can I book an early arrival?
Due to the short space of time between our 2024-25 customers departing and our 2025-26 customer arriving, we are unable to offer early arrivals in any circumstance.
Mid-Year or Summer Arrivals
The above only refers to bookings which start in September or October during the peak check-in period. If you are arriving outside of September or October, e.g. in January, you are welcome to book an arrival slot, but it is not essential. Our team will be happy to welcome you any time, day or night, on or after your tenancy start date (check-in is from 3pm on your tenancy start date, then any time thereafter).
