Thanks!
Thank you for booking again with urbanest for the next academic year!
Please see the relevant information for your rebooking type below to help ensure a hassle-free period between tenancies.
Kindly note that if you fail to follow these instructions carefully, any items in shared spaces are likely to be disposed of by our cleaning teams.
Same-room rebooking
Same-room rebooking
If you are staying in the same room across two bookings, i.e. you have a tenancy in 101A and you have a booking in 101A again for the following year, please read below.
Will I be charged for the period in between tenancies?
Due to the likely disruption as we prepare rooms for the next year's intake, we give everyone who is rebooking the period between their tenancies free of charge.
Do I need to move out between tenancies?
No - there is no need to move out between tenancies. We let you keep your belongings and stay in your room.
What do I do with my items in a shared kitchen?
You should move all of your items in a shared kitchen to your bedroom before your first tenancy end-date. You can still use the kitchen as & when you like, but please return any items to your room after you have used them. Failure to do so, could result in your items being thrown away by our cleaning team.
We cannot be held responsible for any lost/disposed items between tenancies if you do not follow these instructions carefully.
What about fresh food?
Fresh food in your fridge should be clearly labelled to prevent it from being thrown away. You can get stickers from reception to help you mark your items.
And freezer?
Please move any/all of your frozen items to one drawer in your freezer and clearly mark them to prevent them from being thrown away.
Moving to a different room
Moving to a different room
If you have booked a different room (or building) to the one which you have a tenancy for during the current academic year, please read on.
When should I move?
You will need to be present to move your belongings at any point between your tenancy ending in one room and tenancy ending in the other room. This means that you should not plan to be away from urbanest during the gap between your tenancies. Failure to be present will likely mean that the items in your room will be disposed of. We cannot be held responsible for any lost/disposed items between tenancies if you do not follow these instructions carefully.
How do I arrange the move?
A member of our team will contact you directly to arrange an approximate date to move. This will be sometime in July or August preceding the September of your move. Due to the sheer number of rooms we need to prepare for new customers arriving in a very short space of time, it is very unlikely that this date can be moved when it is fixed.
What do I do with my items in a shared kitchen?
If you are living in a shared apartment and you are moving room, you should move all of your items in a shared kitchen to your bedroom before the tenancy end-date. You can still use the kitchen as & when you like, but please return any items to your room after you have used them. Failure to do so, could result in your items being thrown away by our cleaning team.

Do I need to move out between tenancies?
